Now, Adalardo is the place where this budding story is set. Adarlardo can be quite strange at times, in the anti-gravitational belts and such, but for the most part, it would be familiar territory to us earth dwellers. Well, almost...
Adalardo is surrounded by other countries, such as Arlen and Gwydir but it is quite far away from them, and even by the most advanced transport systems it still takes a couple of days to get to Arlen and Gwydir from Adarlardo. So, as my astute readers may have guessed, neither Arlen nor Gwydir get much attention in my tale.
Adalardo is famous for its mountains, they are visible from anywhere in Adalardo, and most of the populous lives close to them. Much of the architecture is therefore influenced by these mountains, the buildings stretch up tall and stick and jut out from cliffs and the sides of the mountains. Even in the planes and farmlands the buildings imitate the glorious Adalardo mountains.
Now, about the anti-gravitational belts, they are few are far between, and the Adalardo people seem to stay away from them, only a couple of well rooted trees and such are able to survive in the belts.
Adalardo is a beautiful place, and its citizens could not ask for a lovelier place to live.
